Dr. Brooke Ellis is thrilled to join Winfield Dental and provide exceptional, compassionate dental care to patients of all ages. With a deep passion for patient advocacy and a commitment to building lifelong relationships, Dr. Ellis views dentistry not just as a profession, but as a way to positively impact lives.
Her interest in oral healthcare began with her own childhood dental journey. Navigating a complex dental case that required extensive collaboration between multiple specialists, she became fascinated by the impact of dentistry. She saw firsthand how a dedicated dental team could restore a patient’s confidence and comfort.
Before attending dental school, Dr. Ellis earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Texas A&M University and spent four years working as a dental assistant. This hands-on experience solidified her dedication to patient care and gave her a unique, well-rounded perspective on the patient experience. She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry.
Driven by a desire to expand her skills, she was selected as one of only four senior students to participate in an inaugural international dental externship in Thailand, focusing on clinical observation and academic collaboration. She also completed the Pediatric Honors Program, gaining advanced training in children's hospital-based dentistry, and the UTHealth Leads Fellowship, an elite program centered on communication and collaborative healthcare leadership. She also maintains active memberships in the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
While she heavily considered specializing in pediatric dentistry because of the energy children bring to the office, she ultimately chose general dentistry to care for families through every stage of life. Her approach to dentistry is to create a welcoming, stress-free environment where open communication and patient education thrive.
"I believe great patient care starts with helping people feel comfortable and truly understood. I want all my patients to feel confident asking questions, knowing they are being genuinely listened to and cared for."
Her approach to care is heavily influenced by her extensive volunteer work, including international dental mission trips to Guatemala and Thailand. These experiences instilled in her a profound commitment to servant leadership, empathy and treating every patient with utmost kindness and respect.
Outside of the office, Dr. Ellis enjoys reading, golfing and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen (especially baking). She loves traveling, exploring new cultures, and spending time with family and her two beloved pets she adopted during dental school. A cat named Winnie and an energetic puppy named Knox.
Dr. Ellis looks forward to getting to know the Winfield community and becoming a trusted partner in your family’s health and wellness journey.
